Wall Insulation

Wall insulation just like attic insulation there are the 3 different types, Fiberglass friction fit batts, or loose fill Fiberglass, and loose fill Cellulose.

Fiberglass friction fit batts are the most common in new houses or when you are remodeling a room and replacing walls.

Loose fill Fiberglass is sometimes used in new homes with a meshing or poly on the walls and a hole is made for the hose and then filled.

Loose fill Cellulose is used the same as the fiberglass and is recommended for old homes that have no insulation in the walls where you drill holes from the outside or inside and fill the walls. See More About Loose Fill under loose fill.
