Attic Insulation

Attic insulation Can be 3 different types, Fiberglass friction fit batts, or loose fill fiberglass, and loose fill cellulose.

Fiberglass friction fit batts or used mostly were you can not get into (i.e. dormers and/or vaults) with loose fill.

Loose fill Fiberglass is the most popular choice in new and old house attics because of it ability to cover like a blanket.

Loose fill Cellulose is very similar to the fiberglass but is made of Recycled paper stock.

In any upgrade the loose fill is recommended.
